When working for myself I find that I need to create ways to supervise myself so that the things that need to get done get done – or at least started to the best of my ability. To do that I keep a list of what has been accomplished that day. In the past I tried to do it in Excel. I like computer records because you can look things up really easily, but I hate data entry so I never kept up with this.
Because of that I have resorted to pen & paper. So far it has been VERY effective, but it’s hard to keep record of. Do any of you, out there on the interwebs, have any solutions I could try – or maybe an Excel template I could swipe from you?
On another note, I’ve got a comic review coming – NEW IRON MAN ISSUE!!!!!!!
See you tomorrow!
Frankie is cute. I love our boy! Even if he has nothing to do with anything in this blog! 😉
I agree with Rene…he is particularly adorable in the dogzilla costume. 🙂
i too subscribe to the pen and paper to-do list philosophy. mainly because writing things out makes me remember them better. and i get a great satisfaction in manually crossing items off my list as i’ve accomplished them.
i prefer to not keep an on-going record of these. when the page if complete, it gets thrown away and a new page is started. this allows me to mentally “let go” of those chores, and keep moving forward.
